CREATIVE EUROPE – CULTURE
Welcome to HoME – House.Music.Europe., an oral history based art-project created in cooperation of four European new music organizations in four countries: Hungary, Austria, Serbia and Spain. Our project combines music and other art forms as well as a social and technical research. Its center piece is a portable house shaped installation collecting, processing and sonifying data of simple storytelling actions of participating individuals of diverse communities. It involves 12 young artists of different genres selected through an international call in order to create sonification algorhythms and further collective works based on the collected materials.
A three years long project phase is co-founded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
Throughout the first three years of HoME we have four sub–projects
1 – Installation
The HoME installation is the most essential part of the whole project. It is a mobile studio, that can record and sonify the stories and opinions we collect. Once it was a horse–transporter vehicle, but our creative team rebuilt it into a special space. The interior is devided into a comfortable space, open for the audience, and the technical room. The first one is equipped with a chair, microphone and an ipad, the second one has a connected computer with an audio interface. Around the installation there are loudspeakers to make audible the sonifications created in real time from the story telling action inside the installation. Through this the installation provides an individual and a community experience for the participants in the same time.
2 – Exhibition
During the HoME –Exhibition the participating artists create installative (non–durational) works. The first results of this phase will be shown in Barcelona on 2022 September 15.
3 – Performance
Participating artists create a performative work by summer 2023 based on the experience and collected recordings of the HoME installation.
4 – Library
In Autumn 2023 the Library of transcript of annonymus recordings will be available for a registered audience.

moment collective The Black Page Orchestra
BLACK PAGE ORCHESTRA, founded 2014 in Vienna, is an ensemble for radical and uncompromising music of current times. The name derives from Frank Zappa’s composition the black page, a piece which score is due to the high density of notes and musical events nearly a black paper. Beside this clear aesthetical approach the ensemble focuses on compositions using electronics, video and different technologies in an artistic context as well as pieces with performative character.

Mixtur was founded in Barcelona in 2012 with the aim to promote creation, pedagogy, just as the diffusion of the music of our time and sound art, the festival is permanently engaged to the research of sound in itself and its interaction with other art forms. The festival’s commitment to new creation materializes through commissions for composers from all generations that are premiered during the festival. Some of Mixtur main features are the interweaving of pedagogical activities with its program and the diversity of aesthetic proposals that their distinguishing characteristics are innovation and daring. Year after year Mixtur program offers a journey full of contrasts in which we get the chance to know the work of artists that share a common denominator: the spirit of research.

Trasparent Sound Festival
The Transparent Sound New Music Festival (meaning also ‘see-through note’) was founded by two composers, Balázs Horváth and Samu Gryllus, in 2014 in cooperation with several renowned concert halls and organizations in Budapest. The name of the festival refers to its aims. Transparency in new music means that the audience is involved in interactive workshops and lectures before or during the events, to better understand the new compositional ideas. Meanwhile ‘see-through’ in music refers to compositions with both audible and visual layers – in the form of new-music theatre or new media –, as they are a special focus of this festival.
